“Leave your phone behind and stay connected to the music and podcasts you love,” Spotify wrote in its press release.

  1. Find the music or podcasts you want to download to your watch.

  2. Choose those playlists, albums or podcasts and tap the three dots (…) and select “Download to Apple Watch”.

  3. The Downloads section of the watch will show the progress of the downloads.

  4. Your downloads, when all completed, will have a little green arrow next to their names.

  5. All you have to do is plug in your headphones and you can start listening, without a phone, wherever you go!

Spotify is also supported by Siri on the iPhone, as well as the Apple Watch. Users can simply say “Hey, Siri,” followed by the command: play specific songs, albums, artists or playlists and podcasts.
