Join us for Handel’s Messiah performed in its entirety on period instruments by the Atlanta Baroque Orchestra, Cathedral Schola and world-class soloists!

Sure, you’ve heard Handel’s Messiah, but have you heard it in its entirety? Have you heard its original version, premiered in Dublin in 1742? Rejoin The Atlanta Baroque Orchestra and St. Philip Schola Cathedral for the pleasure of hearing it played on historic gut-string instruments and natural trumpets, with a Grammy Award winner among the soloists and a choir that will take particular care to nuance the vocal lines according to the practices of 18th century interpretation.

ABO Artistic Director Julie Andrijeski and Canon of the cathedral for the music Dale Adelman share the leadership as the ABO teams up with the Cathedral Schola and a magnificent cast of guest soloists to bring you a unique and moving rendition of Handel’s greatest hit.
