End of the 2021-2022 course at the Municipal School of Music of Mojácar
The 2021-2022 school year of the Municipal School of Music of Mojácar ends with a musical demonstration by the students of the center.
From the youngest, just over three years old, to the most veteran, they had the opportunity to show the progress they made during the course, which was finally able to resume following the pandemic.
The start of the new school year at the Municipal School of Music was a great success in terms of the number of new registrations, mainly among the youngest.
Very important additions, according to the director of the musical group Miguel Ángel Miranda, given that they are the foundations of the school and the pool of talent for the future musicians who make up the municipal musical group of Mojácar, one of the most renowned of the province of Almería.
The school currently has about 125 students. It has four teachers divided between brass and percussion, woodwinds, piano, guitar and the director of Municipal Music. A wide range of instruments which is enriched each year with new instruments.
For this course, a singing teacher joins the school, which introduces those interested to opera and lyrical singing, which are added to dance lessons, two activities linked to the music school.
Music and movement, musical language, instrumental teaching, musical ensembles, vocal and instrumental groups, as well as the possibility of reaching the average level, are some of the disciplines taught at the school.
The most important project of this school is the Municipal Music Band, which is among the 10 best in Almería.
The group is made up of 60 musicians, who in all their performances outside the locality have a well-deserved fame, the group being one of the most acclaimed and recognized.
The registration period for the music school is now open. Anyone interested, of any age and any musical level, can register and have access to learning their favorite musical instrument.
The Municipal School of Music offers both children and adults of all ages the opportunity to access the world of melody and musical instruments.
The course will resume in the fall and classes will be given in the afternoon, although for the next academic year there will also be classes in the morning.
The closing act of the Municipal School of Music was attended by the councilors of the Council of Mojácar Raquel Belmonte, Francisco García Cerdá and Pedro Torres, all members of the management team of the local authority.
