Ed Sheeran Gives London Primary School Students Surprise Online Music Lesson
The hitmaker ‘Perfect’ appears during a Zoom class call in response to a request made by his friend who happens to be Music Director at Ecclesbourne Primary School.
Ed sheeran surprised students at a London primary school with an online music lesson during a video call with her teacher friend.
The 29-year-old singer is good friends with Timothy Spoerer, the Music Director of Ecclesbourne Primary School, was therefore happy to help when asked to offer the class a quick discussion and tutorial.
While talking to the students, Ed explained that he thought he was “an idiot for a very long time” because he couldn’t do things like math, science or English at school. school. But he added that once he found out his calling was in music, his life improved.
“I loved playing music, that’s what made me the happiest,” he smiled on the Zoom call. “My father always said to me: ‘If you want to be a musician, work very hard'”.
“I wanted to make music my job, but it was a lot of hard work and struggle; basically the way I made my income and paid my bills was playing covers at weddings.”
Since then, Ed has grown into one of the world’s most famous singers, selling millions of albums and topping the charts around the world.
In addition to teaching the kids how to play some of his hits, such as “Perfect”, on the guitar, Ed was asked when he was going to release new music.
“Not for some time next year,” he replied. “I need a year without doing anything. To get back to a normal life.”
